I take calculated risks like investing in my first home in my early twenties, moving to San Diego while not knowing a soul, and quitting my corporate job in finance to start my own business. Now, I am financially independent.
I received a bachelor’s degree in business accounting and worked in the hospitality industry, serving others for almost 17 years, starting my career at Omni Hotel in San Diego. Ten of those years were in Finance and Accounting at Hilton and Marriott Hotels where I moved up the corporate ladder, becoming a Financial Controller. I expanded my financial expertise by successfully completing the Certificate in Financial Planning program at Pepperdine University Graziadio Business School.
After 10 years in finance & accounting I decided to take the calculated risk of quitting my corporate job and start my own business by combining my passion for finance, service, and education into one. I also wanted to stop trading my time for money because the gift of time is priceless to me. My life is priceless! Life is too short not to take calculated risks, embrace your passion, and enjoy life at the same time.
